Some people feel that “pay-per-click” advertising on the internet is the best way to reach targeted traffic. Have you heard of Google “AdWords”? Next you'll want to look for ezines geared to readers who would be interested in art posters. Look for good circulation numbers. Approach the website owner, offering the article for free in exchange for your byline. Advertising as a sponsor for electronic newsletters will cost you some money, but the prices aren't steep compared to the exposure and traffic you gain. Write different ads, focused on different customer perspectives and run them in different newsletters. Track your response rates and fine tune your ads. Once the ad is “perfect”, pull the ads from publications that don't bring a good response, keep advertising in the ones that do and search out new ezines to test your ads.

Templates as duplicate content

I'd like to talk to you a bit about the proper use of web templates as well as discuss Google's supplemental results index and"duplicate content". In my last email I told you how Google publicly expressed that theydo not like "boilerplate repetition". That's their way of sayingthat if they see blocks of text repeated more than a few times theystart to doubt it's importance. It doesn't mean they won't indexand catalog those words, it just means they prefer UNIQUE TEXT!
So does that mean we are all doomed because of duplicate contentpenalties? No way! If there was ever an easy problem to solve it would have to be fixing pages with duplicate content!

First off, Google has not yet admitted that they "penalize sitesfor duplicate content". What they have admitted is that if thereare pages that are very similar or an exact copy of another page isthat they will put the web page data into a "supplemental index".While their supplemental index is not as prime as their primaryresults index, it does not mean a site is penalized or that it willnot be ranked for web queries.

It just means that on shorter and more competitive search queriesthat Google will first look at their primary index. And that makessense! And you should all realize it is pretty easy to make a pagesuitable for their primary index. Simply make it more "unique" anddilute any elements that are duplicates of other pages.All our pages that are in supplemental are not doomed! We caneasily fix them!Now, don't get me wrong, I would much prefer my pages get indexedproperly and not tagged as supplemental, but I have been analyzingstats and have found that some of my supplemental pages are stillgetting search traffic from Google. Primarily for longer tail keyword phrases, but hey, the pages are still getting traffic and clicks.

The solution to that problem is more of ... DUPLICATE CONTENT

MATCH your TITLES with YOUR LINK TEXT!

While almost ANY text link is a good thing and will HELP you get more top rankings (unless you link to click here) the BEST way to look at links organizationally and to MAXIMIZE return on Search Engines is to PUT YOUR TEXT LINKS on pages that ALSO CONTAIN your KEYWORDS (as presented in your text links).
So, if you have time or tools to organize your site, the best way to get the most impact would be to carefully select ON TOPIC pages with similar words to put the links on.
This is also good for visitors helping them navigate your site better as links will be to related topics they may be likely to click on. Links will get more clicks if they are relevant. Plus they add more “good words” to your pages.
So, if you have a page about ANSWER JOB INTERVIEW QUESTIONS, try to find pages on your site(s) that also have ANY or ALL of those keywords on them (ideally in the TITLES and surrounding body text). Or similar related keywords…

This will give you a REPUTATION/RELEVANCE boost which can have an even greater impact on rankings than just PageRank alone.
Take it a step further and get this kind of a ‘relevant” link from a HIGH PAGERANK page that also has the words on it and you hit a HOME RUN.
Take it one more step and make sure your text link for “ANSWER JOB INTERVIEW QUESTIONS” is in CLOSE PROXIMITY to the same/similar words on the page that links you. I was talking before about synonyms and how important they are for your PR.(LSI article).If you have the luxury - go ahead and add a SENTENCE or so before the link and maybe a description that also contains YOUR TARGET words and/or similar related words.
That’s the way to get top rankings with less PageRank… By getting links from pages that have good reputation for KEYWORDS you want to rank on.

Relevance rules! It will get your pages ranked high!

Google on duplicate content policy

From Google's "boilerplate repetition"
OK, this could be a problem for us... Google appears to be cracking down on the use of 'boilerplate repetition" and cookie cutter premade sites and templates in general - especially ones that have footprints... i.e. easily identifiable sections of code/text that may have been used by "abusers". So if they find a spammer who had pages that they penalized and or banned a site and they noted an identifier such as <-- insert yourspam content here --> they can use that to find other spammers.That's a footprint. So if there is a template you have that other spammers have used it could be trouble for you... especially if there are many premade cookie cutter sites that have the same duplicate content, "boilerplate repetition". The above quote concerns me because I tend to employ a strategy onmy pages, whether template, or original designed pages, that has a universal disclaimer. What they are suggesting is that if you have a block of text that you use on your template that appears on many pages is that it could trigger a duplicate content penalty, such as relegating your page to supplemental result status. So, that made me realize that many of my pages have blocks of text on them that are repeated. That could very well be why some of my sites that use a common template across many pages have been supplemental. The question is, if I do as they suggest and remove that block of text in my disclaimers or sidebar quotes for example, will that be enough to get the pages back to the normal index (not supplemental results) .To learn more about this go to original page :

I have found in one of my recent studies that buying traffic and sending it to a page that has google adsense ad’s works very well under some circumstances. The click threw rate on your adsence will defiantly improve under certain guidelines that I have found experimenting and in turn your google adsense profit will increase a good amount.

Here is a list of things that I found work when buying traffic to improve google adsense profit. Make sure your site is in the entertainment field whether it be music, movies or a joke related website.

Seo is Search Engine Optimization. A magician's bag of tricks to get your web page on high SERP (Search Engine Rank Placement ) and High PR (Page Rank). SERP is when you search on Google for a keyword (word you are studying) like cats, you get a page of twenty web sites on cats back out of a hundred or thousand pages. SEO is the art of getting your web page to be listed for as many keywords pertaining to your site on the first page of hundreds. Since people have short attention spans, they tend not to search ten pages of returns to find your page.

That is the short skinny on the subject. If that answered enough quit reading. Still curious? Below is a more in depth but only basic description. It still is a basic description even if it lacks MTV brevity.

To get high SERP you can bid on keywords, through Google and other search engines you can bid on certain keywords. Every time someone clicks on my add in blue at the top and sides of Google pages (These are the auction listings, I will pay anywhere from .5 to $5 every time someone clicks on my site for the keywords I bid on. The one who bids the most gets to be on the first page for cats. The rest of Google is suppose to be based on scholarly research qualifications).

So you need to find a keyword that people actually look for but not too many people are bidding on. You got to niche your keyword. To find appropriate keywords you check your web logs to see what words people used in search engines to bring you to your site. Also their are online tools to use that suggest keywords and give a thesaurus of options along with how many times people searched for that keyword last month.

Then we get Page Rank which is based on how many people link to you. The higher page rank used to me higher SERP. But search engines update and change to keep ahead of SEO people. Google's Jager update screwed me up. The Higher PR the higher you can charge someone to advertise on your page also. 10 is the highest. Now to get links you want people to link to you in the middle of a paragraph near the top of their page with reference to you desired keyword. By the way have you seen the updates to my Life Coaching site (www.docspond.org , but since html is outlawed in this article I display it this way without conventional a href tags)? This would be a better link, Natural linking, instead of a directory of 200 people to a page called mile high links. Natural linking is someone considering you more an expert than just linking by subject as in Mile High. Sometimes the first ten can get points from robots to get high SERP on mile highs but these pages in general start out with lower wealth. So sites charge you a premium to be listed on a home page or the top of a directory. But you will never get anyone to click on these links, the only importance you get from them is robots.

Robots are programs that scour the web following all the links on your page to each other and all the ones you list to other sites. They check to see you have good code and list your words for their directory so people can find any phrase you placed on your site. Now links to other sites within three pages of your home page toward the top of each page get better points than any deep in your site or toward the bottom of the page. Also they down score links if their is too many on a page.

To get your site index by robots you go to search engines and go to the bottom of the page and find a link called submit your URL. there you put your address in and hit return. Anywhere from 3 weeks to four months it could take a robot to find you for the first time. Then it will index you once a month unless in your pages code in meta tags you tell it to visit every day if you like. Also it is good to submit URL on search engines every time you change your home page. More times you change your home page the better for points.

Some engines charge you to be listed. But in time they will index you because people on their engine have links to your site that their robots will follow to you. Then you are indexed for free. Yahoo charges to be listed in their business directory some think like $300 a year.

Now to get links is a tedious process of sending out hundreds of emails with a friendly greeting, Your site title with appropriate keyword placement in it, and site description. For their listing you, you give them a reciprocal link with their title and description on your link page. You can get people to link to you as an expert through natural linking. You can do the same for them. But if you get a link without giving one, it equals you higher points. Which in turn give you higher SERP. Other way to get natural links is to create something buzz worthy or give free tools. If you have a cool video of someone winning a Darwin Award, some one might say " Check this Dumb Fuck out!" and link to your site. If it is a popular page you get more points for the link. or if you have a free tool like these; Whois (I can find out your IP address from you computer from my web log and see which state and country you come from and your Internet provider to bitch too), Keyword finder, or Favicon creators (Little icons that appear at the top of the browser to the left of the URL).

Last but not least are RSS, Blogs, Newsletters, and Article submission. RSS is real Simple Syndication. It is a poor mans AP wire service. People have attachments to their browsers called aggregators that read this peculiar code. It can also have placement on your web page. Say you can have a feed from the latest news updated daily by the New York Times which helps keep fresh content on your site to get points. Or you can have people list your articles on their site giving you links back to your site. Then we have Blogs. If you blog you will put a link back to your other page. When this gets higher PR so does your other site. Also it is something else to attract clients to you in another arena. Also every time you comment on a board or blog, make sure you link back to your site in your signature. All post tend to be indexed by robots. If they find your link they come back to your page and give you points. Then newsletters you create will do the same. Links from emails count too. If you click on the links above, you will give points to that web site. But mostly newsletters are marketing to gather sales and inform the public on your product. Then we have article submission. By submitting articles to directories, they get published by other web sites and provide links back to your site.

That is the basic of SEO. Image the expert article. Hmmm....

Well,it's going to take more time to create and maintain many sites, then it would to create and maintain a few sites for sure.Some of the people that I know who are the biggest successes with AdSense have only one site, and that is their focus, that one site.I continually come up new ideas, and I have to get it out of my system and create. I don't know you and can't answer that question for you, only you can.. It's like any other business. It depends on your personal style and your personal preference. Yes. In fact, the more sites you have displaying Adsense ads, the more money you will make. You don’t even have to notify Google of the new sites. Make sure though, that any new site you add conforms to program policies, because if your account gets terminated for any reason, you would not be able to display the ads on any of them.
All you have to do is copy and past the same ad layout code you previously copied and pasted to your original site.
The same rules apply when adding Search box to your new site. Simply choose all the parameters from the choices displayed, copy the code to the new site or new pages within the old site. As in the beginning, webcrawler will detect the code and you're all set.

If you can not afford a fax machine, then consider signing up for your own, free virtual fax number. You can get your own online fax number that will send your faxes directly to your e-mail inbox. If you travel a lot and need to receive faxes from the office, this service is a godsend.
You may be losing valuable traffic and not even know it!

Here's something you may never have thought of before:

If I were to type your domain name -- http://www.yourdomain.com -- into my web browser without the "WWW" so it looked like this:
http://yourdomain.com … would I be immediately sent to your site or would I receive a -Page Not Found- error? Don't be too quick to answer. Think about it. Have you tried this before?
Because while most web hosts and Internet Service Providers (ISPs) are now set up to accept both, some are not! And this means that visitors who drop the "WWW" and simply type yourdomain.com into their browsers may be getting an error message… and you may be losing valuable traffic!

If you try this and find that "yourdomain.com" doesn't work, contact your web host or ISP and request that they make the necessary changes. It's a quick 5-minute fix for them… and everyone they service will benefit.
Some may try to charge you a fee for this change, but I would argue that this is a common service provided by the majority of ISPs and web hosts today. If they want to remain competitive and keep your business, then you shouldn't have to pay.
However, if they still insist on charging you, and the fee is minimal, then you should pay it. After all, you're probably losing valuable traffic that will more than pay for this expense in the long run.

One of the most common needs of site owners is traffic. Without traffic a website barely exists, and we should not even talk about profit. We will try to see here the most important steps to attract targeted traffic. Beginners in internet usually make the mistake to want any kind of traffic and therefore they get themselves into programs that offer tens of thousands of hits for their site, but most of them are blind hits. And after this experience they don’t manage a thing and they give up the idea they could ever do something.

A good way to achieve a number of loyal visitors is to occasionally announce everyone that chooses to be announced of news and new products. Publishing quality information in the sent emails will give a boost to your credibility and you will build a serious amount of loyal visitors.
5. Pay per Click Search Engines
When using such engines, you will pay to increase your rank for various keywords used in searches. If the keywords are chosen properly, you will be paying only for the visitors your are interested in.

SEARCH ENGINES WHAT ARE THEY REALLY?

Search engines have the main purpose to index thousands of millions of web pages. Once you look for a word or a phrase, the search engine scans automatically the entire database where it has the stored pages indexed and it returns to you as a result a list containing the most relevant results for that search.

The only criteria the number of pages found and their relevance depend on are the capabilities of the used search engine.

Search engines appeared somewhere in the early 90’s when Alan Emtage, a student at the McGill University in Montreal created the first search engine like too. It was called Archie. Its purpose was to search through the information available on the FTP servers. The files on these servers were available for anyone, but one couldn’t use them unless knowing the exact address of the server and of the file. Archie looked through this database and gathered lists of files for each server. It was used by people to match phrases and characters in order to take them to the server address the file they were looking for was on.

Archie is now an old method, but its creation was the first step in the search engine rally that is going on now. As the public grew more and more aware of the existence of the internet, the need for a search tool became visible.

So, first there were some software robots, using the concept of spidering to index the web, following links from one site to the other and saving the text from all visited websites in a database.

Between 1994 and 1995 three important search engines appeared: Lycos, WebCrawler and AltaVista. At about the same time Yahoo! appeared but Yahoo! is not a search engine. Yes, it has a search engine function, but yahoo is firstly a director or data and articles, providing different services as email and hosting. Recently yahoo has signed contracts with other search engines as Google for both of them to provide more search results.

Today search engines are in a continuous competition. There are thousands of search engines, but just a few big ones. This small group of top search engines is responsible for more than 90% of online searches.

But the question arises: if search engines are free and they cam be used by everyone what keeps them financially alive? The answer to the question is very simple: advertising and traffic. The more visits they have, the bigger the traffic then the more money they can make providing promotion space.

Search engines are competing to develop the best formulas and algorithms to evaluate the web pages accordingly to the keywords provided.
If someone is looking for a top position in search engines, then he has to be sure that his site is projected in such a way that search engines would find it easily, being relevant for the keywords and phrases the owner wants it to be found by.

You have heard the saying “work smarter not harder” this is true for your online business as well. Your goal is to increase profits not increase your work load.

Most people will purchase the premium edition as they see this as a good deal and getting more for their money.
You will want to test various methods of providing an up-sell for your particular service or product. You can offer this premium edition or enhanced service prior to customer purchasing or after they have purchased and before final purchase settlement.

Subscriptions are an excellent way to increase your profits. If customers like your service they will be happy and renew each year. It requires little time, effort, and cost to keep them as customers and happy. It is much easier to keep someone happy than to build a new relationship from scratch. A subscription service is easily done. By using your imagination you will find one that fits your target audience. Here are a couple suggestions to help start.
Have a popular site category on your website. Charge a yearly fee for inclusion in your links or directory. This will pay for your time and effort to review each link request and also allows discourages the casual link requester which also improves the quality of your links.
Offer a printed copy of your newsletter. Include expanded details on information and also coupons or discounts that readers of the regular newsletter would not receive.Create a subscriber only service and offers information or services that are not immediately available to someone visiting your site. An example would be. If you have a housing referral site that gives housing information. For a fee they can also get contact information for any of the rentals or for sale homes on your site.

If necessary get rid of the high maintenance customer. You will never be able to make everyone happy. Some customers are so constantly demand extra’s but not willing to pay for them; others are just rude to you on a regular basis. Be polite but explain that you will no longer be able to supply them with goods or services for them. You can direct them to a competitor’s website if you wish. But it is your online store and you have the choice as to if you want to serve them or not. The goal is to make money and increase profits not increase your work load and headaches.

Welcome to the land of Google, who pretty much leaves it to others to explain to their customers the logic of what they do and how their system actually works.
If Google thinks that your website in general has"a lot of content" or "a fair amount of content" then you probably didn't get whacked.If Google thinks that your website in general has"very little content" or "no content" (as defined by what their bot thinks when it spiders your site),then they just jack your bids way, way up.The easiest work around is just put your landing page on a different site, i.e. one that has a lot of articles and stuff on it, and normally they'll accept your bids. Instantly, if you do it from a different Google account.

If your landing page has no links on it, which is generally the best way to make a landing page,it might also be good to add some. (Not that those links need to be obvious to the naked eye.)If your site has no content, then.... you'll need to add some. Surely this can't be terribly hard!The overall picture here is that Google wants the right (paid) side of the page to deliver an experience more like what they already reward on the left (free)side of the page. Which, I guess, is a whole bunch of free information and not asking people to do anything,like opt-in, register or buy. Google's guidelines say this,too, BTW.Now when I'm advertising and paying for the clicks,I prefer to decide what the visitors get. And you should too.
But at the same time, Google gets to decide what the rules are and they don't even have to tell you what they are.On this change in particular I've seen a LOT of people angry about Google's attitude that they think they own the world.
The reason Google has this attitude is... because they DO own the world. At least a big part of the Internet world. Right? And people who continually sharpen their axe will win big.

You get to decide which you are.Meanwhile you need to diversify your advertising strategy (Overture is still important, and MSN is finally becoming a real player) and you need to focuson increasing your conversion rates and improving your sales copy. I was testing money making programs, free and paid. I'v come to conclusion that adsense is not enough on the long run because it lasts only couple years and then it's over. If you know how to do that , do it on as many sites as you can and make some quick traffic to your site.

Adsense is stupid when...

There are times Google's heralded ad affiliate program isn't in your long term business interest. Oh no I said it! AdSense isn't the unstoppable revenue engine for every eBusiness.

Before I am taken out and flogged by the eCommerce pundits -- please let me explain what I mean in my defense. I make revenues from AdSense at a very high click-through rate. I experience high click-through rates with AdSense without resorting to questionable tactics like tricking site users with photos (the AdSense trick and tip dujour).

So my perspective is from one who has made decent income from AdSense to fund aspects of his business like advertising seminars -- and outsourcing to his virtual assistants. Yes, AdSense is a legitimate and significant revenue source. However evaluate AdSense with some type of balance. By now you may have heard about people like Joel Comm's six figure income with AdSense, or Jason Calacanis of Weblogs being on his way to generating 1 million dollars in AdSense revenue.

Google's Ad revenue sharing affiliate program for publishers certainly seems to be an eSales Nirvana for many webmasters. But there are obvious and not so obvious times not to use AdSense ads on your sites. Let's list - examine - and explain them below.

1. On Sales or Mini-sites This is a no-brainer. If you are trying to sell a particular product that is important to your bottomline, you don't want AdSense ads distracting your customers from either joining your email list, or hindering your site's online sales process. However I do see hybrid sites that are mini-sites or full scale eCommerce sites, with AdSense at the bottom of their pages. This might not be so bad since only 1% - 15% of your site visitors will either buy from you or fill out a form. The thinking with this approach is you might as well make money from disinterested parties using up your server's bandwidth.

2. SEO Business Sites If your livelihood depends on search engine optimization or marketing for a living you might want to think twice about displaying AdSense Ads on your site. I can tell you this from personal experience. I once was on top of MSN for search engine marketing in my local area. I concentrated on my local area because I found people felt more comfortable hiring an eCommerce consultant locally. One day my site fails totally out of the MSN index. After intense study I noticed that I obviously had a filter on my site from MSN. I analyzed all the top ranking sites in MSN and noticed the only difference between me and the other top ranking sites was I had Google AdSense ads on my site. Someone at MSN felt that my AdSense ads, and perhaps to a less extent, my book on SEO, was getting a free ride in the MSN search engine database. In fact I noticed that there were no sites with AdSense ads for at least the first 3 pages. Plus the sites with AdSense were only using 1 ad unit at the bottom of the home page (there were very few of them in the top 5 pages). I knew it was strange to not have AdSense ads on the top Internet marketing sites. This prompted me to scan other industries where I noticed the same trend. Many of the leading SEO gurus have sites that have been banned from the top listings by the search engines. It seems the more visible you become, the more of a target your sites are to the search engine auditors. Some of my sites are still on the top of MSN with AdSense ads but that doesn't mean they won't also be targets in the future.

Let's face the facts. MSN and Yahoo! have competing ad networks to Google's, and this competitive situation is rife for a potential backlash against SEO sites with AdSense ads. Many SEOs will point to exceptions to this position. However you have been warned! Think about it, how long will MSN and Yahoo! sit back and watch SEO driven websites use their search indexes to fund Google? Did you know SEO in MSN and Yahoo(!) --- is much easier to obtain. Therefore optimized sites are creating an ad sales wealth transfer from MSN and Yahoo into the pockets of Google! It won't be long before Yahoo! and MSN begin to devalue ranking on AdSense sites in their databases -- if not outright ban them. If you are in the search engine business stay search engine neutral, or create multiple sites for different search engines.

3. When AdSense Becomes Your Only Business Model When you become so myopic in your thinking that you build a business solely on AdSense revenue -- think again my friend. Why build a business solely on the largess of Google? I don't know if your realize it or not, but the sites making the real big AdSense money usually have a following that doesn't depend on the search engines. Internet mavens like Chris Pirillo or Joel Comm have been on the Internet a while and have followings for their websites. Therefore they can consistently make six figures with AdSense. These content powerhouses are an asset to Google and not the other way around. But do you think Google is going to sit back and watch just anybody make big bucks off of their top rankings?

If you do a search on most keywords you will notice many of the top ranking sites are news sites, .gov sites, or .org sites these days. The only exception is in industries where these sites don't really exist like eCommerce industries (clothing, shopping, etc.). No doubt in most industries you will notice a conspicuous scarity of AdSense sites in the top rankings. In other words don't bet your future fortunes on AdSense. An IPO based on projections of AdSense revenue isn't in the future for the average eBusiness.
Think of Google AdSense as supplemental income. Building a business solely on AdSense revenue isn't just silly -- it's just plain stupid.

Internet is global thing and lots of people don't speak English good enough.
What I do , to market my blog and get lots of clicks, is that just talking about it. Simple as I do now.
I will give you one example with word 'goulash' and word 'gulash'. That is some kind of dish made in HU,Europe.
If you go to Google.com and tipe in those words in the searchbox result is very interesting:

3.Gulash = 152.000

Is Your Market Already Saturated?

I recently offered my ezine subscribers a free gift easily worth over four hundred dollars. It was the free master resale rights to 106 niche products (mostly PDF ebooks). Some of these are products I'm actually selling from some of my websites (or offering as bonuses with other products).
Several subscribers emailed to say that they'd seen some of these products for sale on Ebay or other places. They questioned the value of the free gift I offered, and wondered if the market for these products is already saturated.

At Gary Halbert's recent Fusion Seminar, I brought up the issue of market saturation. Mark Joyner, Michel Fortin, Gary Halbert, and John Carlton - all world-class copywriters - were quick to point out that market saturation is rare. It's all a matter of how you define your market.

Mark pointed out to me that the segment of the market I was targeting was a TINY fraction of my potential market.Whether or not your market is saturated does depend upon how you define your market. It also depends upon how you define your product.When Henry Ford first mass-produced the Model-T, he offered it to the railroads. For example, I refuse to market most of my goods and services where you are competing on the basis of price. Ebay shoppers are looking for a bargain. Instead of offering the ebooks for a dollar or less, as many Ebay sellers do, I bundled then with something I was selling for $19.97, and then RAISED my price to $67.Competing on the basis of price, with any product, is generally a losing proposition. You have to sell a lot more of the item to make the same amount of money. Since you have to deal with more customers when you're competing on the basis of price, you'll also have more customer service issues.

When Adsense Goes Awol

No matter how hard you work to optimize your page, there are going to be times when Google just can't figure out which AdSense ad to deliver, so it defaults to delivering a PSA (Public Service Ad) instead.
Now I don't have any problem with charities, but I give to the ones that I choose to give to. Since I don't have a non-profit license of my own, the goal of my web site is to make money and I depend on Google AdSense revenues to help pay my bills.

Someday I want it to fund my retirement as well, so I can't afford to have non-revenue PSAs showing up on my site. The good news is the Google understands the human's basic greedy nature, so it provides us with an alternative to donating our precious web real estate to charitable organizations. That alternative is known as AdSense Alternate Ads.

As strange as it seems, this feature allows you to let Google competitors into your site. Don't worry, Google is allowing it with their eyes wide open. They even tell you how to set up the alternate ad code to work on your site and they let you do it right in your AdSense control panel. Once you add the code to your site, Google will pull ads from whatever service you defined rather than serve a PSA. Google will do that even if those ads are coming from Yahoo, or Overture, or your grandmother's attic. This goes a long way towards ensuring that you never lose an opportunity to monetize a visitor's time spent on your site.

How nice it is of Google to gives us that opportunity. Who do you choose? Ah, now that's the big question. Most people head straight for Overture or Yahoo, but there are other fish in the sea worth considering. In fact, some of these fish make their living almost solely by serving replacement ads for PSAs. Run this search (http://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official_s&hl=en&q=google+psa+alternatives&btnG=Google+Search) on Google and you'll have plenty of options to choose from. Why bother? Sometimes Google doesn't have any ads in its inventory to match your site's keywords. Sometimes Google gets confused and can't figure out which ads to deliver, so it grabs a PSA ad. Google also has a not-so-readily-available list of what it calls 'stop words'.

When the Google AdSense spiders detect these words on your page they automatically trigger PSAs. Some of the more commonly known words include severe profanity (think: George Carlins 7 Words You Cant Say on T.V), as well as other words which may very be quite legitimate for your site such as pharmaceutical, drugs, death, dying, abortion, and the list goes on and on.
At least we THINK that it goes on and on but no one really knows for sure outside of a trusted few Google staffers. But no matter what the reason, you don't want non-revenue ads running on your site. There's no excuse when Google makes it so easy to keep the revenue flowing.

Shortcut to success. Do you think that something like that is good in the long run.I was told that I can make adsense money in 3 weeks. But for how long.I would be thinking all the time 'when they will get me?' I think,from my experience, that you can make income few 1000's per month ,lots of months, if you blog every day original content for 5 or 6 months.Some of my friends need 9 months.It takes time because you don't want to invest money. If you have big $ it can be faster.Most people give up after month or two.They chose wrong nich,very popular so it takes even longer.
I think about quiting this publishing biz because my earnings are not what I want it to be. Then again ,when I think about it, it cost me nothing but 10 minutes a day to write this article and because of that I am paid by Google adsense.Couple hundred extra is cool.So, when you think that you had enough,remember that and don't. in the end you will win.

I don't understand why everyone makes Adsense out to sound like some kind of devil. So far, I have a 100% approval rate for my consulting clients. You would think that we spend months developing the site to submit for approval , but to be honest; I spend less than a day (if that!) What we found is that Google is not nearly as picky as they make themselves sound to be.

The trick is to make your site in such a way that you are just providing content; we have found that the less selling you do on your approval site, the better. Don't worry, once you?are approved you can use that code wherever you want ,so put it on other sites that sell later. But for the purposes of getting approved, try to limit to just content, content and more content!

Now, for the disclaimer before we start talking about how to get your site approved for Google Adsense. I am not a member of Google at all, everything I am about to say is all speculation and experience. I have helped over 50 clients get approved for Google Adsense without having even 1 of them not get approved .We have 100% approval rate on FIRST try. All I am going to teach you is exactly what I do for them.

There are three main elements that I focus on when getting a client approved:
1. Site look and feel ? Not that Google wants a $10,000 professionally designed website, but they also don't want some piece of junk. Make sure to at LEAST have a presentable website ? even if it is just a few tables and a solid background color. Avoid using tacky backgrounds or unprofessional color contrasts.
2. Content : The most important ? Google believes in content. If you try to get a website with just a few pages approved, I don't think you will have any luck. You need to have at least 15-20 pages, preferably, 15-20 pages of articles/resources, a.k.a. content.
3. Traffic: Many experts say that Google looks to see what kind of traffic you have and that they do not approve new sites with no traffic. My experience says that these experts are FULL of it. BUT, just to be safe, before you submit your site for approval , try to get your site some traffic.

Here are useful tips you need to make the entire approval process easier and quicker:

Get content from article directories like www.goarticles.com just put those articles in your site, getting 15-20 is easy. Before you submit your site for approval, post at some forums with your website link in the signature file this will help you get some immediate traffic.
Make a very simple website with 15-20 articles, a contact us page, a privacy policy and the typical disclaimer. That?s it ? you?re ready to get approved for Google Adsense. I know I made it sound too easy, but honestly, we have a track record that proves it. And remember, if you do not get approved, you can always fix things and try again. So, stop waiting , apply now Google Adsense is a great source of income.

Here's an all about Google letter. It didn't start out that way, but when my fingers got typing that's what flowed out of them.My brain could have had something to do with it too. But not a lot. It's still quite muddled from being ill.

1. Google Adsense stuff :I've heard that Google have been getting tough on Adsense sites recently, investigating sites displaying Adsense and removing ones which don't meet the criteria.You see, what's happening is that people are getting approved for one site, then adding the code to other sites they own.That's fine by Google as long as the new sites have nothing wrong with them/don't break Google's small print.Well some of that small print is mighty small and two friends have written to me this week to say their sites have been banned in the past 7 days.Why?Well both for the same reason. They both put a lot of work into building new content sites and put the Adsense ads up on almost every page.But it was obvious that the sites had no purpose other than displaying the Adsense code.They didn't try to get subscribers to their ezines, they didn't promote affiliate programs, etc.All they did was have good quality targeted content + Adsense.Now you might think there's nothing wrong with building a site like that, but Google just doesn't like it when it comes to Adsense.One friend sent me the letter Google sent him.
Here's part of what Google had to say:"Ads may not be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant."

Ok, so seeing that having quality content isn't enough, what can you do to make sure your own Adsense sites don't fall foul of the rules.
Well what you have to do is give your sites an extra purpose.Here are a few ways of doing that:

# also display some affiliate links on the pages, and include an affiliate graphic or two.
# perhaps run a news ticker. You can get good ones from a number of sources, but one of the best is http://www.moreover.com which has newsfeeds covering a huge variety of niches.
# link to authority sites on the subject, even though they're probably not linking back to you.
# start an ezine and have a subscribe box displayed prominently on each page.
# if your site is about online business/marketing give away a free ebook or two. But make sure they're quality one's you can customize with your affiliate links so that you stand a chance of profiting from them.
# have a poll running on your site. I use a good one from One Minute Poll .If I were you I'd do all of them.

One way of GUARANTEEING plenty of visitors from Google is by buying Adwords.If you do it right you can make a fabulous income. Yesterday blogger sent me a letter,email in which day say that I might be a spamer.They have some kind a software that can see all that.
So, what I was doing and you should never do?
I received an email from somebody talking about tool that can translate all your articles and if you post them on your blog you will get tons of traffic from all this country's.
And, out of 50 ORIGINAL articles that I have on my blog, I just pick one and did it. Reaction from Google,blogger was really fast . My blog was blocked,I could not use it for s day.After they did it manualy I received message that everything is ok.

Did you ever try to find adsense traffic for your blog by misspelled words? It works like crazy for me.
Internet is global thing and lots of people don't speak English good enough.
What I do , to market my blog and get lots of clicks, is that just talking about it. Simple as I do now.
I will give you one example with word 'goulash' and word 'gulash'. That is some kind of dish made in HU,Europe.
If you go to Google.com and tipe in those words in the searchbox result is very interesting:

1.Goulash = 2.330.000
2.Gulas = 865.000
3.Gulash = 152.000

1. Experience= 1.990.000.000

What little a can do!

Original,fresh content sites or blogs with50-100pages make more money then junk sites with 5000-10000 pages.
Give them what they want, don't fight anymore.Write it yourself or get freelancer,gostwriter to make it for you.It's around $100.You could write for others and make money that way. Just an idea.

Use overture keyword tool and tipe in your main word. It's on yahoo resource tool page.
Copy 10 words you get and go to View Bids tool on the same page under keyword tool an tipe in your firs word to see how much people pay for it. Do that for every word.Make little table with 2 rows.One for word other for biding price.
Something like: golf $1,00
golf shoes $0,35
and so on...

First 10, those words are your nich keyword. Golf is the main keyword and goes in to domena name , title and meta tag and body text. Make page for every word, 10 pages.Write an article about every word 300-500 words.Good content, search engines love that.Try to find nich that is not so competitive.Go to google search box and tipe in your word.google will show you how many competition you have.

My clickthrough rates and CPM figures were very healthy, and I didn't honestly think that they could be improved a great deal. How wrong I was. Immediately after I implemented a few quick changes my clickthrough rate more than doubled, and by doing some fine tuning I manged to get nearly three times as many people to click on the ads as had been previously doing so.
The first technique is one that was 'discovered' by the amazingly helpful Debs, on SiteSell's SBI! forums. When I read it originally, it made sense and I decided to goive it a go, but I wasn't prepared for the immediate impact it would have on my income. It involves making only a few simple changes to the format and positioning of your Adsense ads. Firstly, forget about using banners or skyscrapers. These ad formats are almost universally ignored by surfers. Why? Because we've all been conditioned to recognise a skyscraper or banner as an advert and as these adverts are rarely of any interest, we ignore them.

What's needed is a way of integrating Adsense ads into the editorial on your site as seamlessly as possible. To do this you need to do three things:

1. Use the 250 x 250 rectangle format

2. Make the background color of the ad the same as the background color of your site, or as close to it as possible.

3. Make the ads borderless by setting the border color to be the same as the background color of the ad.
These changes can be made by logging into your Adsense account and creating a custom format. Just select the 250 x 250 ad format, and create a custom color palette. Use the color picker to pick what you want. The Javascript is automatically generated at the foot of the page, ready for you to copy and paste into the pages on your site. Now, you need to position your ads where surfers are most likely to click on them. Research using retina scanning technology has shown that the place that surfers tend to look at first and most often is the top left. I don't know the reasons for this, perhaps it's because that's where we're used to seeing the most useful search engine results (at the top of the rankings) and search engines are the sites we most often visit, so we automatically look at the same place on other sites.

Whatever the reasoning, as soon as I made the above changes to my Adsense ads, clickthrough rates doubled, immediately. The second technique is much newer and one which is entirely based on my own experience. Google has recently added a new type of Adsense format, called Adlinks. This displays a series of links on your page in the same style of Ad unit as regular Adsense ads. When a user clicks a link they are taken to a page of adverts that resembles regular Google search results. As a publisher, you are paid every time a user clicks one of those ads. Adventurous soul that I am, I jumped in with both feet and started to trial Adlinks on my most visited pages as soon as it was launched. I'm using the four links in a square box format, positioned top left of my page content. After a few weeks of running Adlinks alongside regular Adsense ads, it's clear that the return on Adlinks is about a fifth to a quarter higher than regular ads. There's no clear reason for this but one explanation may lie in the fact that clicking on an Adlink takes the user to page of 'results'.

When a user clicks on one of these, you are paid for the click. If the user finds what they want, great, if not, it seems that they hit the Back button on their browser and try again, just as you would for normal search engine results. Then they click on another result, and you get paid again. So it's possible to be paid more than once from the same Adlink click.

Now, this reasoning is speculative, but it does make perfect sense in the light of my Adlinks results. Finally, Adsense has some excellent tracking statistics that allow you to track your results across a number of sites on a site by site, page by page, or just about any other basis you choose. This is a very powerful tool and you should use it to find out which ads are performing best for you and fine tune your Adsense and Adlink ads accordingly. So you see, by spending an hour or so of your time making a few adjustments to the Adsense ads on your sites, you can very quickly treble your Adsense income. Give it a go, you'll be amazed by the results.

My Adsense diary 6 month plan

Experience has taught me that nothing in life worth having is easy.
I know you know that by now :)

I am starting this book on significant date 2006-06-16. It's Friday evening and I am home alone, my family is out having fun and I have few hours to do my work. I want to tell you my story about earning money online through adsense and affiliate program.I call this book diary because it is, adding information on day to day bases as I go with my busines. It is not easy and it doesn't come in few easy steps. I talk about 6 months time during which I will tell you all about it.

Plan...
1. I force myself to do a 'wish list'first:
I will make $100.000 in 6 months time or $200.000 in a year .
2. Then I made a plan 'how to do list':
I will find little nich and write articles about it, 3 pages everyday.You know those little magazines,biz ezines?
Well,I plan to find few under 5000 members and just give my articles for free and in the end of each I will just say that on my web site you can find more info and more articles about same topic.I will give free gifts too.Something that people need:'sales letter creator','Newbies guide for making a software','adsense revenue secrets',..and many more.

3. I will make squeez page or autoresponder to collect emails on the way to my web site and slowly create optin list.

4.After 6 months of writing I will create ebook with all this articles and sell it to my opt in list.

5. During all this time I will have adsense on my web page and I will keep adding content more and more every day so adsense income will start making some money.This is 6 month plan in which I should try SQUEEZE money out of same product in 5 different ways.
-Collecting emails (money is in the list remember :)
-Sell my ebook to the very same list
-Create affiliate program which will make me more sales from the same source.
-I will ask a friend for a JV (income =? sky-high)
-Plus adsense income ($?)

Let's say that during 6 months I can collect 10.000 emails and 1000 (10%) is activ, buying my product for $40.That is $40.000 for me. I don't have to share my income with anybody.

Secondly,some of the people opted in will also be able to join affiliate program I'v created to sell my book to others.

Let say 1000 affiliates, which is not hard to collect, will be selling my book. They are not all activ but 5% is and that would be 50 activ affiliates making me 5 sales each per month, some do more but let's start with 5:
50 x 5 =250 per month x 12 =3000 sales per year 3000 x $40 = $120.000 :50%for affiliates =$60.000 for me
So far I have: $40.000 optin list buyers (from 10% activ buyers)
$60.000 affiliates (from 5%activ affiliates)

Total $100.000
It looks doable!

I am sure that bigger % of people on my list will buy a ebook, not only 10% but let's start small and see.
I dont know at this time if my JV proposal will work or not so it is very hard to predict income.But I did one JV with Felix Ebay in the past and he is always kind and good person ready to help.We did 'do what you love'JV and I was one of the partners.So...
That is good income in 6 months time. I will start small with bigger picture in my mind and then expand my biz in few different directions. That is my business plan!

I just have to act on it and endure 6 months. Dead line is 31.12.2006.
If everything goes well I will surpass my expectations easily.

Adsense - 7 Keys To Empire?

There's a lot of buzz around about how you can make a quick and easy fortune using this AdSense course or that tool or this book.And they show you their incomes from AdSense too (though not necessarily THIS month). Now, is it just me or is something a little odd in all this?Say, I'm making $5000 - no make that $15,276 a month from AdSense on my sites. And now I'm going to sell all my secrets on how to do that for $67 or $97 or whatever.
So what happened, did I get all bored with my filthy riches and decide to become a philanthropist and sell stuff that makes me 15K a month for a pittance? Or is it something else?Am I saying it's impossible? Certainly not. I know people who make that more.But a little reality. Those people don't have 5 or 6 or 50 sites. They have maybe 500 or 3000 or more. Few sites make 20 or more a day. Very few. Average income is probably less than a dollar a day.
So with 500 sites at a dollar a day, you've got your 15K a month.Now the domain names cost you maybe $3500 to $4500. Then you need hosting and somehow you've got to build the sites and get traffic to them. There are excellent tools but the ones that will let you do this kind of thing in a reasonably short time are also very (very) expensive.And you are continually dealing with sites that don't get indexed or get de-indexed or even get banned. Traffic today, gone tomorrow. Plus, if you're not real careful with those tools you may get an unpleasant letter from Google about a DMCA copyright infringement which could cost you your AdSense account.You can make money, you can build an empire. But it isn't easy or quick no matter what you hear. And it really isn't a business. It's not a long run proposition, it's not stable. You need to keep creating more sites as older ones fail - or you need to be smart and use those AdSense revenues to build an enduring business.You put up with this down to here, so here are the real 7 "secret" keys to AdSense.
1. The best performing AdSense type is the large rectangle. This has been tested over and over.
2. The best colors are blue for the link - surfers know that blue means click me. And darkish almost black and grey for the text and url. No borders. The same background as your page. Will it merge into your content? No, that's bogus. There are maybe 4 surfers in this galaxy who can't tell a Google ad when they see one. They are not going to believe it's part of the text. Wake up, OK?
3. Another format which is being reported to more or less work is the full wide banner type layout with text ads and images directly above the links. Try it and see if it works for you. Maybe it's a fad.
4. Keywords and related content are critical if you want targeted ads. If you want high paying clicks you need to target the costly keywords AND have content that supports the keywords.
5. You need traffic interested in the ads. Which means your traffic generation techniques have to be targeted not scattershot. You might hear that 1% or 1.5% clickthrough rate is OK and 3% is good. Nonsense. Really successful people get CTRs that are often well above 30%. Even with modest efforts you should be getting an average 6 to 15% CTR (per ad impression, not pages).
6. You have to track what you're doing and you have to test variations in ad layout, placement, color and related content to optimize your income. No one can tell you how to do it except the traffic coming to your site. If you don't test and track, you're flying blind.
7. You need to keep building new sites.You are now a member of the AdSense Illuminati. Quite possibly you already knew all that. So why are you looking for something else? Really. I'm sure you've read the claims of a few individuals generating five figure monthly incomes from Adsense. For many of you, I'm sure you are wondering why you aren't making this same income yourself. Well, wonder no more. If you follow my simple six step system, you will be well on your way to healthy Adsense profits within three months. Are you ready? It's now time to pay attention.
Step 1 Preparation. The key to making money with Adsense is all about numbers. BIG numbers! Sure, there are a few people making serious money with less than ten sites, but these are the exception. Your goal will be twenty-four sites in three months. That's just TWO sites per week! In order to accomplish this, I recommend one of the many available page generation tools available today.
Step 2 Determine Your Markets. In order to maximize Adsense income with only twenty-four sites, you must know which markets are paying well. To break this down even further, you need to know which keywords within those markets are paying the most.
Step 3 Register you domains. Once you've identified and chosen your markets, you must register domains appropriate to those markets. For example, if your market is Cabbage Patch Dolls, a domain such as http://www.cabbage-patch-doll.com/ would be appropriate.
Step 4 Create your site. Using your favorite page generation software and keyword list, it's time to develop your site. There are several key points to bear in mind when you develop these specifically for Adsense.
1. Format Always use the large 336x280 large rectangle.
2. Border Match the same color as your background.
3. Background color - Border Match the same color as your background.
4. Link = "0000CC"
5. Color_url = "999999"
6. Color_text = "333333"
7. Position Far left or center and just above the page fold (Top 25% of site)
Step 5 Verify and track your site Visit your site and make sure all links work and that the sites appear to your satisfaction. You should also check out the ads Google is displaying. Are they targeted to your primary high paying keyword? If not, recreate your site using your high paying keyword in a higher density throughout your site. Make sure you track your Adsense format, position, and traffic with a tracking system specifically designed for Adsense. Once you know your stats, you can adjust for maximum clickthroughs and higher revenues.
Step 6 Get your site listed in the search engines. This is simple no tricks involved. Simply rent links to your site. A PR7 or PR8 link will do the job. While I've simplified the process here, you are now armed with enough information and resources to make some serious money with Adsense.

There is no question that you can make some good money with Google AdSense, but you?re setting yourself up for disaster if you make any of these Top 10 mistakes!
1. Do not use fake information when opening your Google AdSense account. Google says that is a no-no and they will cut your account off and keep all the money you may have earned. Besides, trying to hide your true identity can cause serious problems with the I.R.S. or whoever your tax authority is.

2. Do not hack or modify Google AdSense code other than to change the parameters that Google authorizes you to change. Any attempt to bypass Google is built-in algorithms not only poses a danger to the integrity of the network, but it threatens the financial modle that Google operates under. You are not dealing with some Mom-and-Pop company here, and Google has the legal muscle and deep enough pockets to drag you through every court in the land if you damage their business with your hacking antics.

3. Keep AdSense ads off of your registration, confirmation, and all "thank you" pages. Don't ask me why you can't put your ads there. It makes sense to me that those would be wonderful locations. Google thinks otherwise, however, and doing so is a hanging offense according to their Terms of Service.

4. Do not display AdSense ads and a competitor's ads (like Overture's) on the same page at the same time. That just makes plain good sense. Google doesn't demand 100% SITE loyalty from you, but they do insist that their own ads not be cluttered up by offerings from their competitors.

5. Don't "beg for clicks" or provide any incentive for clicking on your Google AdSense ads. This is a biggie and you see this rule violated all the time. Any of the 'get paid to do stuff' sites that put Google ads in the member's control panels are walking the plank and they don't even realize it. Even those sites with the polite little messages asking you to 'help keep my site running by clicking on our sponsor's ads' are asking to be cut off if those happen to be Google ads.

6. Never click on the ads running on your own site, even if you are genuinely interested in the product or service and are thinking of buying it! Nothing screams FRAUD louder than a webmaster running up his or her own click counts by happily clicking on ads from their own site. The Google Gods can track this activity and it won't be long until you find yourself getting a goodbye note from their fraud team.

7. No misleading labeling Google is very specific about what text can be placed around their ads. Their Terms of Service state: 'Publishers may not label the ads with text other than 'sponsored links' or 'advertisements.' This includes any text directly above our ads that could be confused with, or attempt to be associated with Google ads. This is to keep visitors from becoming confused and barking up Google's tree when they clicked on an ad that led to a porn site instead of the recipe site they were expecting to visit.

8. Avoid keyword spamming and other divisive tricks You may be tempted to buy one of those 'generates thousands of key-word rich pages in seconds' programs that are so popular these days but I'll tell you this: Their days are numbered. Google is wise to such shenanigans and they will be hot on your trail. Other prohibited gimmicks include: Sneaky page redirects that send a visitor off to a different site then they were expecting to visit. Multiple sites, domains, pages, etc. which have substantially duplicate content. Hidden text or links of any type. Excessive outbound links on any page. Google recommends no more than 100. I'd keep it way below that. And here is a nugget of wisdom straight from Google's mouth: Do not participate in link schemes designed to increase your site's ranking or PageRank. In particular, avoid links to web spammers or "bad neighborhoods" on the web as your website may be affected adversely by those links.

9. Don't advertise anything on Google's prohibited items list. It's a lot shorter lists than PayPal's or eBay's, but it includes a lot of the same stuff like hacking/cracking content, porn, illegal drugs, gambling sites, beer or hard alcohol (I guess wine is OK), weapons, and the other usual stuff.

10. And the 10th dumbest thing NOT to do with Google AdSense is to let the other nine things stop you from running an honest site that's designed to make the most out of this very profitable opportunity that Google offers!
